Before I started the renovation I felt very hopeful that it would go well. I tore down the center wall and made the bathroom two times the size that it was. I also completely torn up the old rotting brown tiles that were on the floor and replaced them with white marble tiles.

I replaced the bathroom sink with a quartz vanity as well. As researching quartz countertops prices and tile costs I was ready to get started. What I didn’t realize was just how much work the tile would be.

The last renovation that was made is that I put a large small tile design that came up from the floor and wrapped around the top of the shower. This is not something that is common in many bathrooms but I really wanted to change things around and make my bathroom very unique.

I felt quite stressed while the construction was going on because the amount of money that was spent on the total renovation was more then I had originally planned for. The renovation took me quite awhile because I was doing it by myself and I was not very knowledgeable on this topic, but I looked online and learned as I went the things that I should do.

Putting the tiles from the floor to around the shower was definitely the longest part of the process since I had to put each tile down one by one and wait for each one of them to dry before moving to the next tile. I felt quite accomplished after finishing the renovation of the bathroom this was my first renovation that I had ever done and it turned out well. Every time people come to my house they are amazed at the tiles going up the wall and around the shower. They ask me how I did it and how the process went, plus how long it took me.
